WWII Era Sperry Auto-Lite AN-5735-1 Directional Gyro - Nice Cosmetic Condition

Description: A nice Sperry AN-5735-1 Directional Gyroscope Instrument made under license by Auto-Lite. The latest Patent on the back dates to 1939 so, this is likely WWII era. It is approx. 5-5/8" by 4-3/8" by 4-3/8" not including the knob. It weighs just over 4 lbs. It is very nice cosmetically with just light to moderate age and wear. The indicators move smoothly with a change in direction. Otherwise, it has not been tested as far as its overall functionality. I don't recommend trying to use it as a gyro without having it fully tested.
