Description: This BEAUTIFUL cotton 30's dresden plate quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with hand embroidered accents and a sunny cheddar yellow background. The quilt came out of east/central Ohio.It measures 84" X 84" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The hand quilting is superb, with quilting around the piecework and in straight line, basket weave, and grid designs in the background, all at an even 10 stitches to the inch. The back is the same solid sunny yellow used in the background, the hand stitched binding is the same blue print used in the border, and the batting is thin. The pics just don't do justice to this WELL EXECUTED vintage CLASSIC in GREAT CONDITION -- it's even more impressive in real life!
