Description: 1940's Little Red Riding Hood Biscuit Jar by Hull Ware. The bottom is marked Hull Ware 982 USA. The top of the jar which is the jar is in really nice shape except for the chip at the top of the red hood. . there are a few hairline cracks on the back of the bottom. Most are Not through to the inside and can be seen only on the outside. Only one of the cracks on the back can be seen on the inside. The hairline crack on the front of the front across the blue bow can be seen part way on the inside. the is one small chip out of the rim on the bottom piece. There is also some crazing on the bottom and on the inside of the bottom. That being said it is a really nice piece from the 1940's. I found a lot of cookie jars and biscuit jars on line, that are Little Red Riding Hood, but only one other withthe blue bow.
