This coat is an iconic classic made in the USA and Pendleton still represents the absolute upper tier of wool coats on the market. Newer stuff cant touch the craftsmanship and the feel of the vintage fabric. Pendleton has a much shorter, worse quality and not near as heavyweight peacoat at their store retailing for $269, this jacket is much better than that one.
