Description: Vintage 1959/1960 Mattel 20” “Chatty Cathy” doll. Referred to as the “prototype” Chatty Cathy, she is unmarked and has a cloth cover over her front sound Grill. She may still speak? I am unsure because her pull string is missing. She is in very good condition and looks like she wasn’t played with much.She has the soft vinyl face, opening, enclosed blue eyes with all of her lashes, a sweet spray of freckles across her nose, golden blonde rooted hair in its original factory style. Her limbs all function properly, although her legs are slightly loose. She is in lovely condition overall. She comes dressed as shown, White dress, white panties, white sandals, pink hair bow.
