HERE WE HAVE: A vintage television & AM FM radio unit! This combination tube TV/radio was made by Garod. There are remnants of a paper label on the back panel, but the model number is ripped off. I THOUGHT this was a model number 10TZ220, but a couple eBay members let me know it's actually a 920 and even sent a photo of an ad for the piece! It's shown in the last photo. The ad is not included in the sale, it is just for reference!The TV has a channel 1, which stopped being used in 1948. Unit has a wooden housing and is made to be a tabletop model. The screen on it is sort of oval shaped.. flat at the top and bottom then rounded at each end. CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or restoration! The TV/radio is completely untested! The tubes aren't all here and I don't have a power cord for it to even try testing it. Some of the cords inside look pretty tattered. There's a small, round hole on the left side of the wood housing and then six more similar sized holes on the front of unit (three on each side of the screen).. I don't know if these were supposed to be here/have a cap on them of some sort or if this is how the housing was designed. There are scratches, scuffs, nicks, finish/color loss, discoloration, and edge wear throughout. The "matting" around the screen has a lot of small discoloration spots although they don't photograph great. The back panel is loose; I don't have any hardware to mount it to the housing and it has breaks in the corners. Will come as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Whole piece measures approximately 17 1/2" wide, 19 1/4" front-to-back (excluding knobs), and 21 1/4" tall. The screen is about 9" measured diagonally and 9" wide.
