Flying Sails (Volume 8) was published in 1928; Whereas each of the original thicker volumes were divided and made more picture-book-like and easier for a child to handle. The style of illustration and text were changed as well from the original 1920s edition. The book is 7 inches in length, 10 inches in height, and 1.5 inches in width, with a weight of 2 pounds and 8 ounces. It was published in 1928 as a revised edition by Book House for Children Publishers and is written in English. This vintage book is perfect for young adults and children aged 4-12 and is a great addition to any book collection. It is a work of fiction that falls under the genre of juvenile fiction and is a product of the literary movement of realism during the 1920s. The book is in good condition and has not been personalized or inscribed.This book is in Very Good Condition with evidence of minimal wear and tear. The page edging shows some scratching and scuff marks. There are no missing, loose, or torn pages. The outer cover has a few scratches and scuff marks as any book of this age would have. Both the interior and exterior are faded and worn; from a combination of antiquing, use through the years, and a chemical oxygenation process. The corners of the cover are a combination of slightly crushed and/or frayed. Price inscription in the upper right corner of the cover page (in pencil). Finally there is a small black ink stain found on the bottom page edging of the book (as shown in pictures). No damage to the interior pages. There is no writing, marking, or highlighting found throughout the book.
