Francoise Syx is a French naive painter whose paintings are very humorous, detailed, and sophisticated. The artist is interested in telling a story of a fantasy world where they`re very familiar within their current surroundings. This vintage artist postcard from an exhibit of naiff (naive) artists at the Galerie Naifs et Primitive was sent through the French La Poste mail from Paris and is postmarked on the back from the city of Paris (Haut-de-Seine district) to the city of Silver Spring, MD. The card is dated by the sender on Saturday, June 15, 1991. The postcard is removeable from the frame. I have used linen hinge tape to attach the top of the card to the backboard. This keeps the card from shifting in the frame. The postcard is in a silver-colored profile metal frame with a black velvet covered stand and regular picture glass.
