Vintage WALCO Feedback Eliminator & Automatic Level Control effect Pedals AS IS

Description: 2 WALCO Vintage Effects Pedals - described below. Plus a package ONLY for the Signal Booster. The 2 pedals are working in the way described below for each pedal in more detail.AUTOMATIC LEVEL CONTROL. Sold as seen, as is This works. I took it out of the package, and put a battery in, and she works. (10-18-2019) The on/off switch is very dirty scratchy, like most every Walco pedal I have had. The attenuation knob goes from 0 sound to essentially what sounds to me like bypass mode volume. So it sounds to me like all the way up, switching on and off you got same volume, with exception of snap crackle and pop you get when using the switch. Why it is call "Automatic" level control I don't know. At very least you must turn the switch on or adjust the level control to change anything, it does not happen by itself. But hey, it was the 70s, and I guess this was Hardware Store Revolutionary Guitar Stuff!!ACOUSTIC FEEDBACK ELIMINATOR This vintage Japan made effect is called an Acoustic Feedback Eliminator. Cosmetically it is mint. I put a battery in, and she does work. Now this sounds to me like a "Gate". I just plugged an electric guitar into it, and the unit straight into an amp input. it works in bypass, though the sound seems much lower in bypass than when the effect is turned on. Per usual with most any Walco I've dealt with the on/off is a little iffy, but this one better than most all others I have had. The attenuation knob is scratchy. So with just that direct electric guitar signal, I can turn far left, and it won't let anything thru. I found a place, maybe 9:00 or so, where it will play the guitar, and as volume fades sound will turn off. Turned up higher it won't turn off. I'm guessing this could take a lot hotter signal and you have more range in the effectiveness of the attenuation. Interesting on this one to me is that the input, output and Japan markings are all just clear imprints.
