Stamps are 1978-1983. 19 colorful mint stamps with content of interest: Cosmonaut Yuri Gargarin, Prognoz, Designer Korolev, Cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya, Soviet-France flight, Salut-7 and Soyuz-7 flight, the Moscow Monument, medical research, polar monitoring, and Cosmonauts Lebedev/Berezovoy. Per the original insert the stamps are CPA catalog #'s: 4834, 4835, 4836, 4837, 4838, 5174, 5175, 5176, 5240, 5241, 5308, 5309, 5310, 5311, 5375, 5386, and 5387.Proton Rocket Pin. Very lightweight metal with the smaller pin backing that we see on a number of Russian items. The rocket is on a starry backdrop. I can only read a few of the Russian words. "GLAVKOSMOS" was founded in 1985 as a subsidiary of Roskosmos the Russian Space Agency. "PAKETA" means Rocket in Russian. NPOTOH means Proton. Proton Rockets are a workhorse of Soviet to Russian launches (1965 to now)! Date of pin is unknown.
