Message me anytime if you have a question and I will get back to you right away. About this item: Here we have one vintage 1950s roller coaster wind up play set from J. Chein Company. Two original vintage cars are included, along with all original parts. Sadly, the wind up motor no longer works. The crank turns in both directions but does not unwind on its own as it should. The elastic band that is meant to bring the cars up the track has lost most of its elasticity, but it does include two sets of original small metal braces that pull the cars up the track. Perhaps it can be repaired - I am not expert in these matters. The playset itself is in excellent condition with vivid colours free from fading or serious damage. There is a small amount of rust along one edge. Overall, a very nice piece and worth it at this price just for the cars! See photos for more on condition.
