Vintage Telephone Candlestick Salesman Display Store Sample DECO-TEL 1970's Rare

Description: Pre-owned Vintage Rare Sample Store Display forSalesman Candlestick Telephone with Cloth as Cord. This is a very nice collectible piece. I would think that this beauty was used as a sample display, for potential buyers. The body is hard plastic, the dial pad base is metal. Stamped MADE IN USA PAT NO 224911 American Telecommunications Corporation Shows signs of prior usage, shelve, storage and vintage age with surface scratches and blemishes. There are a few areas of discoloration * missing paint, number cover on dialer is not present and surface rust on metal dial base. Photos provided. The display mouth piece- transmitter tilts up and down. The display switch hook extending sideways works as intended. When the The display receiver- earphone is hung on the switch hook it goes down and returns to the up position when removed. The dialer turns without assistance up to 5. From there - you can dail by number but it hesitates and sticks on the return. ( Maybe with a little tlc and oil - all of the key numbers will operate again). There are no cracked or chips visible. I can only imagine this display piece sitting in the store on a display stand for customers. I gently wiped the phone off. Further detailed cleaning is being left to buyers discretion.
