The remnant of a logo is visible, but it is very faint, so I cannot discern what it says. I would guess that this piece dates to the 1920's or 30's. The design is typical of that era. It has a very large round chamber, deeply scooped inner side walls, and a straight baffle. The tip opening is very small, measuring in at just .038". This mouthpiece is in overall very good condition. There are some minor scratches across the rails, but other than that the facing is smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak, and no cracks or other damage. The rubber is slightly faded/discolored, and there are some minor scratches/scuffs on the exterior. It has been cleaned/sanitized. This would make a great blank to have customized by your favorite re-facer, although it is quite playable as is (if you like small tip openings).
