Description: Description: Unique cylinder shaped wooden textile thread bobbin is perfect for your collection or craft project. On average these measure between 5 1/2" and 6" long and about 2" across the ends (some a wider, some narrower). The circumference (the distance around the center shaft) is about 5" (although we do have a few fatter ones) and the shaft is between 4 1/2" & 5" long. Some have a painted band and painted ends but we do have some plain ones as well. If you have a specific need or size in mind, please check with us prior to purchase. This is an old industrial piece that has seen plenty of wear and use so expect chips, cracks and gouges in the wood. There is a small hole through the center which runs the length of the bobbin and is open at either end. Important: You will receive 1 spool per purchase. Bobbins shown in photos are representative, we may not have those exact ones available but yours will be the same shape. Please note the dimensions listed as size cannot be determined based on pictures alone.
