Description: Vintage 1980s Panasonic Model SG-J500 AM/FM Stereo Cassette Player Recorder Boom Box NICE!Unit is in great condition and clean. Fully tested. Unit is fully functional except for the "PAUSE" button on thetape player, it will not stay down. Besides the pause button not staying down, all other record and play functionsof the cassette deck work great. The button to open the record player doesn't always work, it's hit ormiss. Usually, while pushing the open record player button, you have to give it a little gentle assistancefor it to get started then it opens. The 45 RPM record adapter disc is also missing from this, however, universalones can be purchased online for a couple bucks. The antenna on this unit is not original but works great. The unit has a crack in it near the headphones jack on the front left side. I also nothiced that when playing the radio or records,the sound is slightly louder on the right side speaker than the left side. When playing tapes however, the sound isequally loud on both sides.
