Vintage Original 1940s Movie Poster, 28 X 22 Slattery's Hurricane Movie Poster

Description: This vintage movie poster is original and authentic from 20th Century Fox. It is NOT a reproduction. It once hung in a movie theater in the late 1940s and early 1950s.The poster is called a half sheet but is a full size poster on fiberboard. Publisher calls the size 28 X 22 but it literally measures 27 5/8 X 21 3/4. The publisher's name, National Screen Service Corp., and order number, 49-349, is on the border.This original movie poster would look great in your retro living room, game room, or home theater.It is in fair vintage condition. There are signs of age such as folds in the original sheet, fading, pinholes, paper loss, deterioration, tape remnants, and a nail hole. Most of the damage is on the border. Please use your zoom for a good look.The movie is called Slattery's Hurricane. It starred Richard Widmark, Linda Darnell, and my favorite, Veronica Lake. Also starring John Russell, Gary Merrill, Walter Kingsford, Raymond Greenleaf, Stanley Waxman, and Joseph DeSantis. Screenplay by Herman Wouk and Richard Murphy from a story by Herman Wouk. It was directed by Andre DeToth and produced by William Perlberg for 20th Century-Fox.Former WWII Navy pilot Will Slattery (Richard Widmark) flies a small commercial plane for candy manufacturer R. J. Milne, unaware that Milne is a drug smuggler on the side. Will’s girlfriend, Dolores (Veronica Lake), also works for Milne and attempts to warn Will about Milne’s activities. Having run into his former love interest, Aggie (Linda Darnell), who is married to friend and weather pilot Hobby Hobson (John Russell), Will is distracted — then unwittingly finds himself trapped in a drug delivery.
