Vintage Movie Star Brand Aqua Pegnoir Sheer Long Robe Gown Lace Trim Tie Front

Description: Thrifting find. Vintage long pegnoir robe with tie front and gathered empire waist, in a sheer, light aqua blue with matching lace trim. Made in USA by Movie Star, and is 100% Nylon Tricot. Marked size 5 P and it fits like a modern-day 0 to 2. I'm 5'3" and size 0 to 2 and the gown fit well. The tag also has the numbers 1948 and I wonder if that might be the year of manufacture, though the gown doesn't seem that old. Maybe it just wasn't worn much. The only issue I would find were two snagged areas, each about an inch long, at one hip. It's shown in the last two photos.
