Description: The Lodge Manufacturing Company South Pittsburg, Tennessee Years of operation 1896 - current, still producing cast iron cookware. Vintage Lodge 3 notch #6 cast iron skillet. Restored, no cracks or chips. This piece is a spinner with wobble, see picture of bottom for degree of warp. As such it would not work nicely for glass top stoves, but would still serve well on a electric or gas stove. Made in USA circa ~1940s-1950s. Please refer to pictures as they are of the actual item. These cast iron pieces have been carefully restored by stripping them down to bare metal by natural means. No sand blasting, wire wheels, or any other such equipment is ever on any of my restorations, so as to respect the original craftsmanship and historical character of the iron's surface. As such, natural irregularities in the iron's surface will be present, which can include casting flaws, pitting, or utensil nicks. Please refer to pictures for details specific to each piece. Each piece of cookware is seasoned 3 times. Thanks for looking!
