Description: Vintage HELBROS SELF WINDING, Cal. Otero 48, 17J, Germany, Ca. 1960s, Working. The movement is nice, clean and working. The 20 microns gold plated case is in very good condition, with minor signs of wear, and measures 41.45mm from lug to lug and 34.65mm not including the crown. The outside caseback is stamped: Waterproof, Anti Magnetic, Stainless Steel Back. Between the lower lugs is stamped: Plaque Or G 20 Microns. The dial is in good condition with some spots and has a lovely cream patina. The hour markers, hands and all lettering are in good condition. The crystal is in excellent condition. The vintage brown snake embossed leather band is NOS and complements the watch nicely. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
