Vintage HANDMADE Scratch Built LIVE STEAM Engine Locomotive Train No. 1 Gauge Awesome estate fresh large size scratch built live steam engine locomotive. High quality handmade live steam engine. Heavy brass and aluminum construction. Inner truck wheel spacing is ~1.5" so we believe this a No. 1 Gauge. Exact scale unknown. Engine measures 20" long x 4 1/2" wide x 7 5/8" tall Tender measures 10 3/4" long x 5 1/4" wide x 5 5/8" tall Engine and tender both have engraved plates that read "N.P.W.", presumably the initials of the model maker. Fresh out of a high end estate collection. Very nice vintage condition with light evidence of use and handling. Engine appears problem free but has not been tested.
