Description: Vintage Dual 1228 turntable in good condition. The base is very clean with one slight corner damage. Plinth is clean and unmarked. The supplied DUAL brand dust cover is of the “set-on” type and does not have hinges. It is quite clear with no cracks and only a few hard-to-see scratches. See pix. The turntable works but will need to be readjusted and reset. Idler wheel is soft and plyable. Played a couple records on it manually and it worked pretty well. The queuing arm will sometimes work and probably needs to be adjusted. The cueing arm action level has been wired in place but seems to work OK. The tonearm TK-14 sled is NOT supplied nor are cartridge and needle. I’m selling those separately on my site. There are some signs of use and wear and aging but overall in very good shape. The unit supports 33 1/3 and 45rpm speeds and has an automatic tonearm set-down coupled to the speed selector.
