Fair wear of paint in places, surface rust, soiling, scuffs, scrapes and dings. The plastic buttstock is curved and none of the plastic is cracked. The spring is very strong and the gun still shoots well. According to the Daisyking.com web page (http://www.daisyking.com/history/chronology3.htm), the front sight, bright trigger and patent numbers places it between variations 4 and 5, so between 1954 and 1955.
