Description: Nice vintage piece of Amelia Earhart travel luggage that could be used for a little getaway, or also serve as a fun display. The train case is green vinyl with a tan vinyl interior that has a floral design. There are peach ruffles and a plastic-lined peach cosmetic type pouch that snaps into the bottom of the case. The zipper on this pouch is stuck open - tried some WD-40 but decided not to force it too much. There are 2 elastic straps on the inside of the cover which are meant to hold a mirror, but I don't have the mirror that came with it. There is a little fraying on these 2 straps, but they will still function to hold a mirror in place if you choose to put one there. Three more elastic straps on the inside front of the case can be used to hold cosmetic items like little bottles, etc. (I showed it with some deodorant containers). The top of the case is somewhat dented, but the inside is not affected. The key works nicely to lock the case. As I mentioned above, the case had the scent of pencil shavings when I obtained it, but I used baking soda and dryer sheets to help lessen it, and they did. Note that there is still some odor, but more like the dryer sheet scent now. Considering its age, it's clean and in good condition!
