Description: Vintage 1970’s Fruit Of The Loom Kansas City Royals Baseball Shirt MLB Kids 16. This piece came from the estate of Richard Alan Scheinblum who was an American professional Major League Baseball player. He played for the Washington Senators. In 1971, he won the American Association Most Valuable Player Award after hitting a league-leading and Triple-A-record .388. In 1972 he was named to the American League All-Star team, and batted .300. In 1976, after leaving Major League Baseball, he played for Japan's Hiroshima Toyo Carp in 1976, batting .307 (8th in the Japan Central League) with a slugging percentage of .501 and 20 home runs. He also played for the KC Royals in the early 1970’s. I believe this would have been his son Monte Scheinblum’s Jersey. He is an American professional golfer, and the son of former Major League Baseball All Star outfielder Richie Scheinblum. While he competed on the Nike Tour, he became known especially for his long driving, where success is achieved by a golfer hitting a golf ball the farthest. In 1992 he won the National Long Driving Championship in the United States, and was the world long driving champion. This shirt is in pre owned condition. It has areas of discoloration, staining, or small holes, and normal fading from being worn and washed. Please review all of the pictures to see any stains, flaws, or imperfections.
