Description: Vintage 1957 High Bee GOEBEL HUMMEL Walt Disney BAMBI WPD Ffm Germany TAG Click images to enlarge Description SWEET VINTAGE GOEBEL BAMBI FIGURE Sweet and petite vintage hand painted porcelain Goebel figurine of the iconic fawn from Bambi - measures 3-5/8" tall. Featuring an adorable stance with long, slightly splayed legs, perky tail and ears, large eyes and spots on each side, belly bears the high bee Goebel mark dating figure 1957. Complete with round foil double sided string tag marked WALT DISNEY BAMBI CHARACTER WDP Ffm. Condition is lovely with no damage other than a hint of paint wear to the black hooves, and a touch of paint loss on one eye - due to the hand painted nature of the piece, there are several areas where the paint is thin - does not detract. Only thing of note is missing paint on the nose tip - I don't feel any roughness or chipping, but there is a spot of black paint missing - I think this would be an easy fix if desired.
