Vintage 1940’s Black 2-pc Dress, Beautiful Lace Layered Over Satin Slip, Look!

Description: I will be listing my collection of vintage clothing, adding listings as I get them finished. Please check them all! Dresses, etc., will be displayed on a mannequin with the measurements of about 34" bust, 23 1/2" waist, 34" hips, and she is 5'-6" tall. She is wearing heeled sandals. I will have items listed from all different time periods. I only have one beaded 1920's Flapper Dress. Many brands of 1960's-70's Prairie Dresses, 1950's Prom dresses, beautiful slips and lingerie. I DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. Pet and Smoke Free Home. This listing is for a VINTAGE 1940’s Black 2 piece Dress with a beautiful floral pattern lace dress over an under dress or slip. I show many details because this dress if fantastic! The dress has a very pretty rayon or taffeta slip dress underneath with a 4” wide pleated hem. The straps at shoulders has one end pinned so you can tack it to fit your body. The lacy outer dress has buttons on the front with a collar. These buttons fall off easily because of their age so 4 of them are in a baggie. Before wearing, all the buttons should be re-attached. There should be 13 buttons but now there are ONLY 12. The sleeves are 3/4 sleeves. The detail of the rare vintage lace design is Wonderful!! A very pretty floral design and definitely a quality vintage lace. There are a couple of holes in the lace at the back of the neck. I showed a close up. Your hair would cover if long enough. There might be a couple other little tears in the lace but super hard to see. There is a zipper on the side of the lace dress. The measurements of the SLIP are 4" long pleated hem, 46" long from shoulders to hem, waist is 24-26", bust, 34", hips 34", sleeves are 17" long. There is only a tiny portion of a tag left inside the dress. GREAT 1940's DRESS with a unique style. I will be listing two other black vintage dresses.
