These boots feature a 360º Goodyear welt, a CustomCork insole and leather soles with a rubber heel cap to prevent slippage. These are built on the 511 last. The leather is fully leather-lined, befitting high quality boots that can handle the elements. These boots are curently selling for $475 on Allen Edmonds website and in retail stores. I've always thought these were the most attractive of Allen Edmonds boots -- the other contender being the Higgins Mill -- and these can be dressed up or down, with slacks or khakis or even jeans. I wish I could keep them but I really needed a 9E - that's what I wear in most other Allen Edmonds shoes (sometimes even EE) but I thought I could make these work. For reference, I wear size 8.5D in Red Wing heritage boots (Moc toes and Iron Rangers) and 9D in Wolverine 1000 Mile. I have tried to photograph these from all reasonable perspectives. There are no known nicks or scratches but because these are pre-owned you should expect some - do closely examine each of the photos. These have been stored in a smoke-free home.
