Description: I've tested trail shoes for Vasque and Red Wing, and I love the Vasque brand, which I've been wearing since 1978, for good reason. These are solid, supportive, and protective, with a good version of GoreTex for breathability. The soles show light-moderate but even wear, and the tread is uncompromised. Lace aglets (tip sleeves) are missing, but lace tips have been fused to prevent fraying, and the laces are in otherwise very good condition. These boots will hike all day and will hold up through a full season of severe use, or several years of serious hiking.
