These patches would be worn by enlisted members of the Soviet Airborne or Paratroopers VDV branch on their uniform dress coat and would date from 1970 to 1988. These patches are rubberized in material and are typical of Soviet and Russian Federation patches. It is rare to find Soviet Union military branch patches in general in outstanding condition and they will become harder to find in the future as collectors grab them up. These branch insignia patches would be a great addition for militaria, espionage, Cold War, Warsaw Pact, or historical reenactors.
