Description: Here is a fine vintage and most special holy card. It has a beautiful prayer that is as appropriate today as it was in 1936. I invite you to enlarge the photo so you can recite it. On the front, there is a lovely scene of Our Lady of Prosperity. Mary is standing in the opening of a cloud filled sky. She is holding the Child Jesus with her left arm, while her right arm is holding a large cornucopia of pink roses. Jesus is holding one of the roses. On the back of the holy card, there is a prayer to Our Lady of Prosperity with a Nihil Obstat and an Imprimatur with the date of March 13, 1936. The detailing on this holy card is exceptional with nice coloring and lots of gold leaf highlighting. There is a gold leaf outline border and title at the bottom of the holy card. The holy card is standard size - 4"H x almost 2 1/4"W. Lithographed in Canada. Clean, clean, clean and in MINT condition.
