Description: A unique and wonderful Antique Japanese Early Meiji Period lobed (8 melon shaped panels) Cloisonne Vase maintaining beautiful multi-colored enamel, green and blue foil within some of the artwork and overall, quite wonderful design and detail. This great and not often seen shaped piece of early Meiji Era Cloisonne measures 6 3/16 inches tall and 13/16 inches wide. It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, with no dents or stress cracks (the only reason it's not just Excellent is the tiny bit of enamel loss at the base which occurred during firing and loss at 4 of the tiny dots around the circular motifs in the body - not easily noticed and also from firing bubbles). One has to really look to see the missing enamel. This wonderful and unique Cloisonne Vase would enhance any Collection. Thank you for viewing this piece and have a wonderful day! Note: I ship within 3 days and most often cover all the shipping costs, unless an item be very heavy - then I contribute to the shipping. I try to give all the details possible and support that with many photos but please don't hesitate to ask any questions or for more images. I want everyone to have a positive and enjoyable experiance when shopping with me. My husband always says, "We were placed here to see one another through - not to see through one another"
