Unique Antique Bohemian Mary Gregory Amethyst Art Glass Vase w/Geisha & Cherub

Description: This auction is for a unique late 19th century/early 20th century Mary Gregory Bohemian blown and cut-glass amethyst art glass vase. This was purchased from a prominent Washington D.C estate. This stunning piece has been my personal collection for many years. I used to collect Mary Gregory glass; all were sold except this one. Now it is time to share it with the eBay community. This lovely vase is blown and cut and is in not so common amethyst glass. It is a baluster form vase with unique subject matter. It depicts a Geisha holding a cherub who is in a bird cage. They are lovely with great detail. They are in a nature setting with a tree and foliage, (see pics). There are beading accents at the rim and the base. The amethyst glass is very subtle. This stunning vase measures 8 1/2" tall, with a rim diameter of 3 3/8" and a base diameter of 3". The vase is excellent with no chips or cracks. There is typical gold loss at the rim. It could use a bit of a cleaning, as it has been stored for a couple years.
