This auction is for a set of Genuine Aged Magna-Tusk ™ Ivory grips for ANY of the current or former Uberti made Colt SAA style revolvers. This includes any of the 1873 Single Action Cattleman series, the Stallion, the Buntline, any of the El Patron series, the Cattleman .22, the Horseman, the 1873 Cattleman II, SASS Pro, CMS Pro, Evil Roy, or any of the other Uberti “plowhandle” style pistols, including anything sold by Cimarron, Taylors, Navy Arms, EMF, Stoeger, or any of the other importers. The purchase price includes full custom fitting in our shop. After custom fitting, the grips will be aged with our exclusive aging process, to impart the authentic “Old West” Ivory patina that Arizona Custom Grips has become famous for. We have fully developed this process and have a vast amount of experience in doing it right. To properly do the custom fitting, we will need for you to send in your frontstrap/triggerguard, and your backstrap ONLY. We need only these two pieces and do not need anything else (including the screws), and ask that you keep all other parts in a safe place until your completed grips and gripframe parts are returned to you. Upon purchase of the grips, you will receive instructions on where to send the parts. Turnaround time is expected to run around 1 to 2 weeks from receipt of the parts, depending on our production schedule. We keep a full stock of Uberti grip blanks on hand, in about 80% finished condition, with only final fitting needed, for the quickest turnaround possible. Please keep in mind that the aging process involves curing time to do it right, which cannot be rushed, so please plan accordingly. Note that this auction is offered for Single Action Army style revolvers only, and is not intended for other designs, such as the 1858 or 1875 Remington, etc. However, if you have a non-SAA style revolver, please drop us an email and tell us what you have, and we will always try to accommodate you if our schedule permits. They are then carefully and slowly aged to an authentic patina using our exclusive process described below.
