Description: Tushinsky Superscope variable anamorphic projection lenses Not a lens in the standard sense; it doesn't focus. It is an adjustable anamorphic adapter. It uses a pair of wedge prisms to stretch an image in one dimension, as for cinemascope or other widescreen formats. One of them is missing its case, and the front glass ("image intensifier") is chipped and has tape residue on it. Good view of the mechanism. The other one has a complete case, but the surface finish is flaking off. The glass needs cleaning. Not sure about any optical coatings. The cranks and gears work on both. Serial numbers #1851 and #2423. Manufactured in Los Angeles, CA. Sold as is. Great for your personal movie theater, or for optical tinkerers. Could be used in a beginner's optics lab. All questions welcome. Local pickup could also be an option.
