Tommy James and The Shondells Crystal Blue Persuasion 1969 R-7050 First Press EX

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Tommy James and The Shondells titled "Crystal Blue Persuasion b/w I'm Alive", originally released in 1969 by Roulette Records. I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The generic inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track is etched "I", followed by the matrix numbers A-2/A-2, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at RCA Records' pressing plant, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded as Excellent because of superficial sleeve marks, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright, without any surface scratches, scuffs or smudges. I'm play grading this record as Excellent because of occasional super low levels of surface noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, lock-ups or skips from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially an original Indianapolis pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
