It probably can be used as other uses: hot plate; warming plate, coffee warmer?. 400 watt is plently. Cleaned and tested---got hot, (VERY HOT!!) didn't make anything. Photo #11 shows its on and light is glowing. It cleaned up very nicely. The white finish is real smooth and nice! Doesn't look like it was used much. A few very minor scuffs and scrapes. It looks like the cord rewinds around the bottom as shown (photo #7).. When I searched on-line I found a manual for 6506. You might call the factory 800-947-3744. Please look at the PHOTOS since they are definitely also part of the DESCRIPTION AND SHOW THE EXACT CONDITION.! (YC. )
