Description: Tintype 6th-Plate, 3-1/4" x 2-3/4". Glare from my cellphone camera, not part of photograph. Glass is very dirty, could use a good cleaning. ---Collectors of Spooky or Odd-Looking People: This side-profile portrait looks like a ghost of Ebeneezer Scrooge from 'A Christmas Carol.' ---The collar style of jacket was very common in 1860s, where the suit collar was made of velvet or a corduroy, different from the suit jacket material. Also, the man is wearing a wrap-around style neck cravat. ---The back of the tintype has a glue or resin of some type, perhaps from where the photographer glued the tintype package into the union case. This tintype was found like this in an estate sale box. There is no case. ---Tintype/magnet will attach.
