The TH8 and TH8RS from Thrustmaster is a quality piece of kit but for myself and many others the throw of the shifter it too far. The knob sits too tall to make it feel like a realistic race, rally or drift car. I have set out to design a short shift that can be used with an adapter to give you a choice of gear knobs to put on top of the short shifter. Different adapters are available in other listing but the contents of this package allows you to mount a carbon gear knob at two different heights: Normal short shift & Extreme short shift Its now possible to get a great look and feel by shortening the throw and fitting a real gear knob. The knob pictured is a weighted aluminum knob wrapped lovingly in either black or red carbon fiber.
