This Audio Classique product is far superior to the original in all respects. The Armboard matches the height and profile of the original perfectly. If you already have a tone arm fitted to your TD150 the Armboard can be quickly and easily swapped without the need to adjust the suspension. The caste acrylic construction is the ultimate base for the Rega. A rigid integrated Armboard to Sub-chassis assembly is vital. The Audio Classique Armboard is not only a straight swap for the original cheap wooden Armboard, it uses the 4 original sub-chassis mountings holes but crucially employs a discrete integrated sub-chassis mounting system secured by stainless steel cap head screws. This not only makes for a rigid firm interface between the armboard and sub-chassis, it allows the Armboard to be removed as often as you want for maintenance and cartridge changing without ANY fear of wood screws holes stripping or becoming loose.
