Description: For Sale is One (1) Trade paperback copy of "The Films of Robert Rossen", by Alan Casty. Published by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 1969. The book is in overall good condition. The defects are concentrated on the cover. Most apparent is the addition of clear tape to affix library labels. There is a dark stain near the text block edge of the front cover. The cover fabric at the top of the spine is detaching. There is fraying and heavy edge wear on the back cover, at the top near the spine. There is 'bleed through' from another book that faintly appears on the back cover, along with some small colored spots. The covers are tanned. The text block along the bottom and bottom of the side text block are somewhat darkened. On the inside front cover, there is a library card holder (neatly centered) with a "withdrawn" stamp. There is a library stamp on the copyright page. The remarkable thing about the book is the inside--and how clean and untouched it appears--especially for a library book. The rough appearance of the cover belies the condition of the pages within. There are no stains or markings on the interior pages. The binding is intact and solid. This is a short book about a remarkable Hollywood producer, screenwriter, and director who was involved in many classic films to include The Sea Wolf, Edge of Darkness, A Walk in The Sun, Mambo, Lilith, and Alexander the Great, among others. Please examine the photographs of the book to determine if it is suitable for your use. Every effort was made to document any noticed flaw in a photograph. Sale is for One (1) Trade Paperback copy of "The Films of Robert Rossen", by Alan Casty, as shown in the above photographs.
