In 1907, Kipling was the first English-language writer to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature.Stuart Tresilian was born in 1881. An English artist, he was commissioned in the 1930s to illustrate two collections of stories from the Jungle Books: Animal Stories and All the Mowgli Stories. Tresilian is also known for illustrating Enid Blyton's Adventure series.
