About Arthur Adams A self-taught artist, Arthur Adams became a fan favorite at the age of 19 when he left a job making pizzas to pencil the critically acclaimed Longshot limited series, written by Ann Nocenti and published in 1985 by Marvel Comics. He has been in high demand ever since, as his highly distinctive and detailed artwork gained Arthur considerable popularity among fans and editors. He. has enjoyed being a cover artist as well as both the artist and sometime writer for miniseries, specials and annuals. In his career, Arthur has had acclaimed runs on many titles, including The Authority, Danger Girl, Excalibur, Fantastic Four, Gen 13, Guardians of the Galaxy, Godzilla, Gumby, Hulk, Jonni Future, Longshot, New Mutants, Ultimate X, Uncanny X-Men, Vampirella and X-Factor, to name a few. He also launched his creator-owned series Monkeyman and O'Brien in 1993 with Dark Horse Comics’ “Legend” imprint.
