Not a cheap set you can buy at chain stores. It was a very expensive set. This set includes 2 captains’s chairs (with arms) and 4 side chairs. Seats have been reupholstered (by ourselves) several times. Oval table has 2 removable leafs. Total of approximately 88 inches with both leafs in it. The table has always had a protective pad on the top which is included.China hutch with a flat top is also included in the set. It has glass, mirrors, and lighting. It has individual drawers in the center with one for silverware plus 2 additional store cabinets with shelves. Great storage available in this piece of furniture. Approximately: 52 inches across, 18 inches deep, 83 inches tall.This has been a treasured, loved and a very classy set for over 25 years. It is used, pre-owned and as-is condition so not perfect but it great condition. *****In 1962, John F. Kennedy’s wife, Jacqueline Kennedy, restored the White House and purchased 425 chairs from Tell City for the White House Ballroom. *****Tell City was a small former company in Indiana. They only made a limited number of pieces of furniture at a time. It took months and months and months to get a complete set. They cared about QUALITY not quantity.
