Description: Taylor 518e Jumbo Acoustic/Electric Guitar - 2013 An excellent example of Taylor's take on the Jumbo, called the Grand Orchestra. It's not quite a jumbo, having a 16.75" lower bout. Deep base and a loud voice. Very balanced otherwise. No fret wear. It has the Taylor ES-1 pickup system. Original price was $3000 in 2013. This guitar is priced low because it has a few deficits:1. Some one before me tried to drill the heel (and not very well) for an endpin jack. It didn't affect the integrity of the guitar, but it's messy. See photos.2. The neck has been reset using Taylor's NT Neck shim system. It is currently set to Taylor's specs for action, relief and amount of saddle showing. A fantastic guitar and great player. I'm selling because I'm getting rid of all mahogany guitars.
