What Does Josh Think In my time as a live sound engineer, I have found the CoolTube preamp to be one of the easiest acoustic preamps to work with. Even with established Nashville writers and artists, you never quite know what you’re going to get when an acoustic guitar is first plugged in. Some pickups and preamps subdue desired frequencies or over-emphasize undesirable ones.
