Description: These are 2 gallon size citrumellos for sale. They produce lemon like fruits suitable for juice and are a hardy ornamental evergreen to semi-evergreen small tree for zone 7b or warmer. These were seed grown so there will be some variation. They are commonly used as rootstock for grafting due to their cold hardiness and disease resistance. This variety 'Swingle' was bred in the early 1900's by crossing a Trifoliate (poncirus) and a Duncan Grapefruit by Dr. Swingle. We ship these well wrapped without the pot but with the rootball and soil. The first 3 pictures are of the actual plants, the fruit picture is an example of the fruit we found online.
