All of these projectors need new belts, new lamps, need old lubricant stripped from gears and new lubricant applied. All need to be bench-tested and adjustments made to restore them back to their original factory settings. QUALITY DUAL 8 PROJECTOR FEATURES:High-End Dual 8 Projector - This is a dual 8 projector. This means that it will play either Super 8 or Regular 8 film with the simple flip of a lever to change film formats. This projector incorporates sprocketless film feed. Many cheaper projectors attempted to feed film using one sprocket that had a tapered end to allow Regular 8 film to drop down over that sprocket's teeth. The problem with that design was the inherent damaging of film holes and thus the destroying of film. This QX80 model was the TOP of the home projector line, with features that most projectors did not incorporate. Forward / Reverse / Fast Forward / Fast Reverse / Still / Multi-Speeds / Auto-Loading / Auto Stop - This projector incorporates forward, reverse, fast forward, fast reverse, STILL, multi slow-motion speeds, and auto-loads the film through the entire film path and out the rear of the projector onto the auto-load take-up reel. At the end of each reel of film, the projector will automatically stop and you can rewind the shown film back onto the main reel...a very nice feature. The multi-speed is very nice for slowing down the projected image to a slower preset speed. Fast forward and fast reverse can be accomplished WITH THE FILM IN THE PROJECTOR....a really nice feature to enable fast forwarding or rewinding to s specific scene without having to watch all the way to that scene. The STILL feature is also nice for stopping the film at a specific point to view a scene. This projector is EXTREMELY user-friendly...just feed the film in the top and sit back and enjoy your old movies. The controls are all right up front and self-explanatory as to function. 80 Watt Halogen Lamp - This projector utilizes a brilliant 80watt HALOGEN lamp and comes with a working lamp installed plus an additional brand new lamp for a "back-up” lamp. Halogen lamps are longer lasting lamps and much less expensive than the older lamps. I give all of my buyers the internet address where they can purchase quality additional lamps at wholesale prices.Digital Film Counter - This projector has a really nice three digit film counter that keeps track of where you are in playback of your film. This is nice for fast forwarding or fast rewinding to a "specific" point in a reel of film. You can notate where a scene begins so that you can quickly advance or reverse to that scene. This was a high-end feature that most projectors did not have. Ultra Sharp Zoom Lens - This projector offers a sharp 20mm-30mm zoom lens, just slide the lens in or out to zoom in or out, making the projected image larger or smaller. This lens, with the 80watt lamp, has very little light fall-off on the edges of the projected image. 400' Auto-Load Take-Up Reel - This projector comes with its original auto-load 400' take-up reel. This reel auto-loads the film onto the reel as it exits the projector. There is no stopping the projector to manually feed the film onto the take-up reel.Heavy Duty Power Cord - This projector comes with a built-in heavy duty power cord.Owners / Instruction Manual - Comes with a copy of the original owner's manual.
