Description: Antique Collins No. 87 Legitimus Sword measuring 33" OAL, with a blade length of 27.5". Collins Company markings with logo and model no, etc. with the opposite side of blade markings, "EJERCITO CONSTITUCIONAL" Which we believe means Constitutional Army. Bright blade showing some scattered flaking, and shows some age patina, handle is tight with no looseness, the guard looks more like that of a German Bayonet. Not sure if this was modified and not originally a "S" guard, top of guard is smooth though. No Scabbard. See photos!
