Description: The rimmed soup bowl measures 8" wide and the plate measures 7.75" wide. Some utensil marks and underside of bowl has gold marks under the glaze. The bowl has a few black spots to the left of the boy. Gold worn of the soup bowl rim almost entirely. These probably date to the USSR in the 1970-80s. The character is known as Karandash and he is standing on a book that is titled Azbuka (Alphabet).
