This was the way the older lathe's plugged up the lubrication ports before the Gits type fittings were used. Will fit any lathe or machine with a 3/16" lubrication hole, (the split finger end is spread apart to make it a friction fit). This is one of those little parts, like the quill dauber / oiler, (sold in our store too), that almost every lathe is missing! Get it now to finish off your restoration or just because you can't stand that little hole being empty. We know that the quill dauber / oiler pockets do alter from "normal" specs from time to time.
